1.Columbia BME faculty will advise SUSTech on both undergraduate and graduate Biomedical Engineering programs by sharing expertise and curriculum.
2.The Columbia BME Department will assist SUSTech to develop an independent program where students may receive a B.S. degree from SUSTech and an M.S. degree from Columbia:
3.Columbia BME faculty may co-advise with SUSTech faculty, students admitted to the PhD degree program at Columbia.
4.The SUSTech will offer to fund and support five to ten Columbia BME students each year to visit SUSTech for either one-semester or one summer.
5.The SUSTech will offer to fund and support up to five Columbia BME faculty members each year to visit SUSTech to advise on BME program development and BME research.
6.The SUSTech and Columbia BME faculty may choose to develop joint research investigations in fields of mutual interests for potential joint research projects.
7.The Columbia BME faculty forming such collaborations, will be assisted by SUSTech to apply for translational research funding available to SUSTech such as Peacock Plan as well as other funding sources in Shenzhen and Guangdong Province.
